Who we are

Montera Technical Service L.L.C ("Montera", "we") is a landscape and swimming pool contractor licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence 1629886), at 401 Detroit House, Motor City, Dubai. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

• Information you give us — your name, phone number, email address, the project type you select, and anything you write in the enquiry message.
• Information from contacting us directly — if you call, WhatsApp or message us, we keep the contact details and the content of that conversation so we can help you.
• Site-visit and project information — community, villa or plot details and photographs relevant to quoting and delivering your project.
• Technical and usage data — pages viewed and how you reached us, collected through the analytics and advertising tools described below.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, passport or Emirates ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and quote your project — on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form, and to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To deliver a project you engage us for — to perform our contract with you.
• To follow up on an enquiry — we may contact you by WhatsApp, SMS, phone or email about the enquiry you made. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To improve the website and our marketing — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, and your consent where required for advertising cookies.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations in the UAE.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run our business. They process your data on our instructions only:

• Customer relationship and messaging platform — to store enquiries and manage our follow-up by WhatsApp, SMS and email.
• Website hosting and database — to run montera.ae and hold enquiry records.
• Email delivery — to send you and our team notifications.
• Analytics and advertising — Google and Meta, as described below.
• Voice assistant — where you call our published number, your call may be answered or transcribed by an automated assistant so we can capture your enquiry accurately.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. Where your data is transferred outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, including relying on the provider's contractual data-protection commitments.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use privacy-friendly website analytics to understand how the site is used. We also use Google and Meta advertising tools to measure whether our advertising works — for example, whether an enquiry, a call or a WhatsApp click came from an advertisement. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you using the site, though some measurement will not work.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymised.
• Project records — for the duration of the project and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep them for legal, tax, warranty and defect-liability purposes.
• Marketing preferences and opt-outs — kept for as long as needed to honour your choice.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law you may, subject to conditions and exceptions:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data where we no longer need it;
• ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, including direct marketing;
• withdraw consent you have given, at any time — this does not affect processing already carried out;
• ask us to transfer your data to you or another controller in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these, email enquiries@montera.ae. We will respond within the period required by law. You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office.

Photographs of your property

We will not publish photographs or video of your property, or of you, on our website, social media or advertising unless you have given us written consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time and we will remove the material from channels within our control.

Keeping your data secure

We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable service providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
